PURPOSE: A nailing device is provided to prevent sensitive parts of a clutch device from being exposed to the same accelerating force as an energy transmission element by fixing the clutch device to a housing. CONSTITUTION: A nailing device(10) comprises a mechanical energy storage device, an energy transmission element, a control device, a handle(30), and a handle sensor. The mechanical energy storage device stores mechanical energy. The energy transmission element is moved between a starting position and an installation position and transfers energy from the mechanical energy storage device to a fixing element. When a user grasps the handle, the handle sensor recognizes the grasping of the user.
