摘要

The method involves switching-off an electric motor (120) when a power input of the electric motor exceeds a predetermined current value, and determining rate of fall of rotational speed of the electric motor based on characteristics of voltage generated by the electric motor. Current value of the electric motor is increased around a value when the rate of fall of rotational speed of the electric motor lies below a predetermined threshold. Sluggishness of the electric motor is determined when the rate of fall of rotational speed exceeds the predetermined threshold. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product with program code units for executing a method for determining sluggishness of an electric motor (2) a control device for an electric motor.
