PURPOSE: A separation method for a mixture of glycol mono-tertiary-butylether and glycol di-tertiary-butylether is provided to recycle a hydrophilic and lipophilic property extraction agent. CONSTITUTION: A separation method for a mixture of glycol mono-tertiary-butylether marked with chemical formula 1, and glycol di-tertiary-butylether marked with chemical formula 2 comprises a step of using a hydrophilic and lipophilic property extraction agent. In the chemical formula 1 and 2, R1 and R2 are hydrogen or an alkyl group with 1-5 carbons, independently, and n is an integer selected from 0-4.
