PURPOSE: An inorganic compound capable of effectively absorbing near infrared rays, and a producing method thereof are provided to reduce the usage amount of organic solvent when producing the inorganic compound. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of an inorganic compound comprises the following steps: mixing a polyol solution with metal salt and transition metal salt to obtain a polyol mixed solution(S1); adding an aggregation inhibitor into the polyol mixed solution to obtain an aggregation inhibitor mixed solution(S2); adding water into the aggregation inhibitor mixed solution(S3); heating the mixed solution using micro waves(S4); removing impurities from the obtained inorganic compound (S5); and heat-processing the inorganic compound to obtain the crystallized inorganic compound(S6).
