<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved electrode paint using a water-dispersible polymer or a water-soluble polymer as a binder. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode paint includes an active material 50, the binder 52 made of at least either of the water-dispersible polymer and the water-soluble polymer, a solvent 54, and a dispersant 56 made of at least either of a maleic acid copolymer and its salt. Dispersibility is improved by adding the maleic acid copolymer or its salt into the electrode paint L1 in which the water-dispersible polymer or the water-soluble polymer is used as the binder. Consequently, it allows to weaken a shear force applied during a kneading step. By this, it is possible to suppress deterioration in binding force since it is possible to reduce the cutting of a molecular chain of the water-dispersible polymer or the water-soluble polymer during the kneading step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
