<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency and to improve sequence restriction of a mounting process in mounting grommets to a wire harness for an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: An elastic inner layer part 10 is inserted into a wire harness 6 from an inner layer slit 12, and an elastic outer layer part 20 is inserted into the elastic inner layer part 10 from an outer layer slit 22. The elastic outer layer part 20 is rotated at 180° with respect to the elastic inner layer part 10 to shift the relative position of the outer layer slit 22 to the inner layer slit 12. Thereby, a grommet 1 can be inserted into the wire harness 6 form its side. Thereby, work efficiency can be improved as compared with a case where the grommet 1 is inserted by making it penetrate in the axial direction of the wire harness 6. Even after a penetration obstacle such as a clip or a connector is mounted to the wire harness 6, the mounting work of the grommet 1 can be carried out without trouble and the sequence restriction of the mounting process of the grommet 1 is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
