PURPOSE: A suck back measuring apparatus for a dental handpiece and a measuring method thereof are provided to quantitively measure the suck back generated from a dental handpiece. CONSTITUTION: A suck back measuring apparatus for a dental handpiece comprises: a head inlet which inserts the head of a handpiece; a sealing chamber(110) which is equipped with an air outlet for discharge of air; an interception unit(120) which is installed in the air outlet of the sealing chamber and selectively opens and closes the air outlet; and a pressure sensing unit(130) which is connected to the sealing chamber and measures pressure change of the sealing chamber.
