The device has a controller (9) controlling processing of a workpiece (8) i.e. electrically conductive workpiece, and a generator module (GEN) generating generator pulses. A switching element (11) is connected to the generator module and two tool electrodes (1, 2), and the controller controls the switching element such that the generator is connected with one of the electrodes and the generator pulses are supplied to one of the electrodes. A cable connects the generator with an input of the switching element, where the switching element includes outputs that are connected with the electrodes. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling radio-erosive processing of a workpiece. |
