FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: application: for electrohydraulic treatment of various materials. The method consists in execution of a preliminary electric discharge inside a liquid volume contained in an open water reservoir or a closed reservoir, at least between one of working electrodes and an auxiliary electrode and subsequent main pulse electric discharge between two working electrodes. At the same time the preliminary discharge is executed as an electric corona of AC or DC voltage. Besides, the polarity of voltage of corona's preliminary discharge (voltage at the auxiliary electrode) is set as opposite to the voltage of the main electric discharge. ^ EFFECT: facilitation of conditions for electric breakthrough of liquids and increased efficiency of electric energy conversion into impact wave energy. ^ 6 cl, 1 dwg |
