FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to metallurgy. The machine comprises a crystalliser 2, formed by external 3 and internal 4 water-cooled cartridges, a cylindrical fuse 13 with a head 16 in the form of a pipe and a drawing device in the form of driving rolls 22-25. The fuse is made of two links 18, 19 installed with a gap and connected by means of a rod 20 made of spring steel and rigidly connected to the links 18, 19 by pins 21. End surfaces of the links are arranged as spherical. The diameter of the metal rod 20 is equal to 0.1-1.0 of length of the rod part inserted into the link 18, 19. Under the crystalliser 2 there are several rows of guide rolls 7-12, the distance between which in the upper row is equal to the diameter of the external cartridge 3, and in the subsequent rows the distances are made as increasing. ^ EFFECT: provision of alignment and accurate ingress of fuse into a circular cavity of a crystalliser as the fuse is introduced into the crystalliser. ^ 5 cl, 3 dwg |
