PURPOSE: A method for providing a service based on vehicle operation data and a device using the same are provided to provide neighboring area and vehicle driving data by automatically driving vehicle operation data which is collected from a vehicle terminal to a cloud server through a mobile terminal which is available for the internet. CONSTITUTION: An authenticating module(321) performs paring between a vehicle terminal which collects vehicle driving data and a mobile terminal by responding to executing an application. The authentication processing module receives the authentication information about paring between a vehicle terminal and the mobile terminal from an authentication server. A transmitting module(322) receives the vehicle operation data from the vehicle terminal and transmits the vehicle operation data to a cloud server through the application. The authentication server authenticates paring between the vehicle and the mobile terminal by using the identification information of the mobile and the vehicle terminal.
