PURPOSE: A synchronization circuit is provided to perform delay locking and duty cycle correction by generating initial delay information using a monitoring circuit. CONSTITUTION: In a synchronization circuit, a first loop circuit(200) establishes the initial delay time by using first initial delay information. The first loop circuit varies the delay time of the first input signal and generates a first delay signal. A second loop circuit(300) establishes the initial delay time by using second initial delay information. The second loop circuit varies the delay time of the second input signal and generates the second delay signal. A duty cycle compensation(500) uses the second delayed signal and compensates the duty cycle of the first delay signal. An initial delay monitoring circuit(600) generates first and second initial delay information.
