PURPOSE: An article storage system is provided to search the rack corresponding to management number data by detecting the movement of the racks using a movement detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION: An article storage system comprises multiple racks(10), a conveyor(20), an input device(30), a slave controller(40), and a wireless communications device(35). Multiple racks are successively connected each other. The conveyor transfers racks. The input device generates one or more administration number data based on the input administration number. The slave controller controls the drive of conveyor based on administration number data and transfers racks to the setting location. The slave controller counts the orders of the racks. The wireless communications device transmits administration number data of the input device to the slave controller or transmits the control signal of the slave controller to the conveyor by wireless.
