PROCEDURE OF DEFORMATION FOR PRODUCTION OF BLANKS IN SUB-CRYSTAL AND NANO-STRUCTURED STATE AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION

FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: source blank is subjected to successive cycled deformation treatment and successive multi-run mechanical treatment at rolling mill. Each cycle of deformation treatment includes placement of the blank in a cross-like cavity of the device, in deforming, in removal from the said cavity and in re-arrangement for the next cycle by means of turn at 90. The cavity of the device has crossing vertical and middle rectangular horizontal parts. Deforming corresponds to simultaneous compression of the blank by height in the middle of the cross-like part of the device cavity facilitating plastic flow of blank material in two opposite directions. Also, walls of the horizontal part of the device cavity restrict deformation of the blank.
