FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: in order to simplify the process of producing alkyl silanes and their further purification, synthesis of alkylchloro silanes is carried out in the medium of aromatic hydrocarbons in the presence of a catalyst - tetrakis(diethylamido)-phosphonium salts, more preferably bromides and chlorides, at temperature ranging from 20C to 250C.
