FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: potato harvester comprises an excavating working body, a mechanism of separation the potato tops, the mechanism of separation of large soil clods, the mechanism of grinding small and medium sized clods of soil, conveyor and sorting device and a hopper for potatoes. The mechanism of grinding small and medium sized clods of soil consists of a cylinder conveyor and a pneumatic cylinder of clods grinder. The mechanism of separation large soil clods is designed as a two-part conical drum screen, consisting of inner and outer drums. The internal drum is made of rubber rods mounted at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the drum with a step between them exceeding the maximum size of the potatoes and which do not let in large soil clods, which are removed from the harvester. ^ EFFECT: invention enables to create normal conditions for work with heavy and super heavy soil and reduce rate of impurities of potatoes, with increase of productivity. ^ 3 dwg |
