PURPOSE: A safety can for storing food is provided to enable users to safely and conveniently open the can by forming a thin connection unit in between a body unit and a cover unit. CONSTITUTION: A safety can for storing food includes a body unit for storing contents, a connection unit, and a cover unit for covering the body unit. The connection unit connects the body unit and the cover unit, and thinly surrounds the edge of the cover unit.
