PURPOSE: A nanoparticle-fused FRET sensor is provided to accurately detect phytoestrogen and to be properly applied in food and medical fields. CONSTITUTION: An FRET(fluorescence resonance energy transfer) sensor contains nanoparticles fused to estrogen receptor ligand binding domain containing a donor fluorescent protein and receptor fluorescent protein. The donor fluorescent protein and receptor fluorescent protein are linked to N-terminal and C-terminal of the estrogen receptor ligand binding domain, respectively. The nanoparticles are quantum dots containing carboxylic groups, polymers, magnetic material, or gold. The nanoparticles are a carboxylated polystyrene nanoparticles. |
