PURPOSE: A dumbbell is provided to prevent a safety accident and to improve convenience thereof through simple replacement of a weight. CONSTITUTION: A dumbbell comprises: a barbell settling unit(10) which is inserted into a connection rod and includes a plurality of first through grooves in the outer circumference thereof; a barbell fixing unit(20) which is installed inside the barbell settling unit and is equipped with a second through groove; a pair of elastic pieces(30) which is equipped with a plurality of projections; and a control unit(40) which fixes a weight by using a projection of the elastic piece.
