PURPOSE: A method for preparing a polarizing plate and the polarizing plate are provided to improve the adhesion between an adhesive layer and a cycloolefin group protection film by minimizing the decomposition of a cycloolefin based resin in processing plasma. A cycloolefin group film(4) is formed on the antistatic adhesive layer. A polarized light device(3) is formed on the cycloolefin group film. A transparent protective film(2) is formed on the polarized light device. A surface protection film(1) is formed on the transparent protective film.
