<p>PURPOSE: An antibacterial synthetic fiber and a method for fabricating the same by melt-spinning the surface of synthetic resin is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating an antibacterial synthetic fiber comprises: a step of mixing fiber-forming polymeric materials with one or more materials selected from antibacterial plant extract, oil, or powder. The content of the plant extract, oil, or powder is 0.01-10 wt%. The fiber-forming polymeric material includes polyesters, polyamides, polypropylenes, polyacrylonitriles, and polybutylenes. The antibacterial plant includes Lauraceae, Cupressaceae, Pinaceae, Taxodiaceae, Araliaceae, Linaceae, Rutaceae, Liliaceae, and Folium nelumbinis.</p> |
