PURPOSE: An overflow and initial rainwater storing/treating system is provided to remove bad smells, prevent corrosion, and manage first and second water tanks conveniently. CONSTITUTION: An overflow and initial rainwater storing/treating system(100) comprises a grit chamber(130), first and second water tanks(140,150), a connecting pipe(170), and a discharge pipe(172). The grit chamber receives sewage from a sewage generating source(110) through a storm overflow chamber(120). The first and second tanks are integrally connected to the grit chamber to receive sewage and are arranged side by side. The connecting pipe is arranged on the exit sides of the first and second water tanks and are connected to a sewage treatment plant(160). The discharge pipe is arranged on the exit sides of the first and second water tanks and are connected to a river(180).
