PURPOSE: A fluid machine is provided to improve the efficiency thereof by preventing fluid from flowing into an intake pipe side casing through a gap between an impeller and a casing. CONSTITUTION: A fluid machine comprises a casing(110), an impeller(120), a motor, and a fluid leakage prevention member. The casing is formed with an intake pipe(111a) on one side thereof and a discharge pipe(111b) on the other. The impeller is formed with an intake port(125a) facing the intake pipe and a discharge port(125b) facing the discharge pipe, and the impeller is installed inside the casing and rotated to guide fluid into the intake port. The motor is installed on a side of the casing and comprises a rotary shaft for rotating the impeller. The fluid leakage prevention member prevents the fluid of the casing from leaking into the intake pipe side casing.
