PURPOSE: A tube bending machine having an automatic loading system and a method for automatically loading a tube on a bending head thereof are provided to allow a bending head to be freely moved within a plane which is vertical to a tube transfer direction. CONSTITUTION: A tube bending machine having an automatic loading system comprises a bending head(14), a first drive unit, a tube transfer structure(36), a second drive unit, and an electronic control unit. The bending head is moved within a vertical plane. The first drive unit moves the bending head within the vertical plate and moves a tool(26) of the bending head to opening and closing positions. The tube transfer structure is rotated around a rotary shaft which is vertical to the vertical plane. The second drive unit rotates the tube transfer structure around the first shaft. |
