PURPOSE: A screen quality controlling method and display device using the same are provided to reduce color difference and to naturally express the color of the skin by improving contrast and clearness based on the gray level of a perimeter pixel. CONSTITUTION: A blur processor(151) blurs the pixel data of horizontal lines. A compression processor(152) compresses pixel data which are blur. A data stretching processor(153) modulates maximum pixel data having maximum gradation value and modulates minimum pixel data having first minimum gradation value. The data stretching processor modulates pixel data having a middle e gradation pixel into a middle gradation modification value. |
