<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional ultrasonograph and to provide a method for operating the same. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional ultrasonograph has: an extracting section for scanning an objective body within the human body and extracting a plurality of side face images of the region of interest (ROI) input by a user from a plurality of images obtained there; a processor for detecting the contour of the objective body from the plurality of side face images of the above extracted objective body; and a controller for measuring the thickness of the objective body using the contour. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
