<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and effective optical system capable of making combination of a reflective section and a lens effectively generate powerful light of radiation even in case there is a large distance between a light source and a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A UV-LED-curing assembly 2 for curing of inks and the like having at least one array 18 of UV LEDs includes the reflective section 4 which partly surrounds the array 18 and has an elongated reflective surface 14 for emitting radiation towards the substrate supported at a position receiving the radiation emitted from an opening for curing coating on the substrate; and the lens 24 located between the array 18 and the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
