<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing adhesion of toner particles around a fixing section in the case that exhausting means is disposed above the fixing section and a thermal insulation wall member is disposed between the fixing section and an image forming section. <P>SOLUTION: An exhaust device 18 is disposed above a fixing section 15 for exhausting air suctioned at an inlet port 18C to the outside of the device. A thermal insulation wall 19 is disposed between a process cartridge 13 and the fixing device 15 to suppress heat transfer from the fixing device 15 side to the process cartridge 13 side. Further, the thermal insulation wall 19 is provided with an opening portion 19A as an air flow path to constitute a first flow path and a second flow path. The first flow path begins at around the bottom end of the thermal insulation wall 19, passes nearer the fixing device 15 than the thermal insulation wall 19, and reaches the inlet port 18C. The second flow path begins at around the bottom end of the thermal insulation wall 19, passes nearer the process cartridge 13 than the thermal insulation wall 19, and reaches the inlet port 18C via the opening portion 19A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
