<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black ink composition which is free of surfactants, can be subjected to use in an ink jet printing system, has good compatibility with a nozzle material, improves ink wettability and an ink quick-drying function, and can improve the quality of an printed image to stabilize printing quality. <P>SOLUTION: The black ink composition includes: (A) a self-dispersive black pigment; (B) less than 1 wt.% of a glycol ether compound; (C) a solvent; and (D) water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
