<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button lock capable of easily and promptly setting and changing password information while being kept attached to a door and evading the mischief or pressing error failures of a push button. <P>SOLUTION: The button lock includes: a housing 18 where a plurality of push buttons 20 are attached retractably; a lock plate where a plate key hole to which a lock pin arranged so as to be engaged and disengaged to/from the push button 20 and moved in the coaxial direction can be inserted and a plate lock hole which can be abutted to the lock pin are formed; and a reset plate capable of holding and releasing the axial direction displacement of the inserted lock pin through a reset spring provided therein. When the push button 20 is pressed, the movement of the lock plate is controlled through the lock pin, and the engagement of the lock plate and a drive cam can be released.
