MANAGEMENT METHOD OF BEARING STATE AND BEARING STATE MANAGEMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing management method and a bearing management device in which concentration of iron powder in lubricant within a bearing unit is regularly measured for enabling appropriate action to be taken upon a failure and eliminating modification of equipment.

SOLUTION: The bearing management device continuously measures concentration of iron powder. When the raising ratio of the periodically measured value of the concentration of iron powder exceeds a predetermined control value A, a lubricant in the bearing is continuously replaced with new one. When the measured value of the concentration of iron powder exceeds a predetermined control value B, replacement timing of the bearing is determined.
