<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens cap which can be attached and detached easily even if an interchangeable lens is mounted with a hood, while the interchangeable lens can be placed in installation side stably with a front edge of the interchangeable lens facing downward even in the state that the interchangeable lens is not mounted with the hood. <P>SOLUTION: A lens cap comprises a lens cap main body (1) with a cylindrical shape, knobs (2, 3) for cap attachment and detachment which is installed in a symmetric position along a central axis (AX) of the lens cap main body (1), and can move to a direction perpendicular to the central axis (AX), and protruding portions (2a, 3a) which are comprised to protrude in parallel with the central axis (AX) to the knobs (2, 3) for cap attachment and detachment, and are located on central axis (AX) side away from an outer circumferential face (1a) of the lens cap main body (1), and the widths of the protruding portions (2a, 3a) are set to be larger than the widths of the knobs (2, 3) for cap attachment and detachment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
