<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-free chain which prevents leakage of lubricating oil and entry of external dust while operating the chain, and which reduces abrasion damage to the inner peripheral surface of a bush and the outer peripheral surface of a connection pin to prevent chain elongation due to the abrasion for a long period and achieves an increase in the amount of lubricating oil retained in the whole chain. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-free chain 100 is configured as follows. Lubricating oil is sealed between the inner peripheral surface of the bush 130 and the outer peripheral surface of the connection pin 160, In the state where the inside surface of the outer plate 150 has a same shape of felt-like oil absorbing member 180 stuck thereon, an inside region opposing the bush is pressed and recessed to bulge toward the outside surface of the outer plate 150 to form an outer-plate inside ring-shaped recess 151. The recess 151 supports the bush 130 while a bush end face 131a of a bush protruding end 131, which partly protrudes from the outside surface of the inner plate 110, is in contact with a crushed thin part 181 of the felt-like absorbing member 180, and surrounds an outer peripheral surface 131b of the bush protruding end 131 to retain the lubricating oil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
