<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the cutoff properties of sound, light and air when a sliding door is closed by a simple structure and to improve the operability of opening and closing the sliding door. <P>SOLUTION: In a sliding door device 20, the sliding door 21, in which a seal device 30 is incorporated for closing a gap between the end face of the sliding door 21 and the horizontal frames 11 and 12 of the door frame, is provided so as to be moved to open/close against another sliding door 22 arranged side by side inside a door frame 10 or a small wall. The seal device includes a pusher 32 resiliently pushed in to be brought into butt-contact with the vertical frames 13 and 14 of the door frame when the sliding door 21 is closed, and a seal member 33 for closing the gap with the horizontal frames 11 and 12 of the door frame. When the sliding door 21 is closed, on each of the sliding door 21 and the other sliding door 22 or the small wall, overlap parts 21A and 22A where they partially overlap in the opening/closing direction of the sliding door 21 are formed, and the respective overlap parts are provided with engaging and sealing parts 60A and 60B to be engaged and sealed with each other so as to restrain the opening of the sliding door 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
