<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing acrylic synthetic fibers which have a high intensity and a modified cross-sectional shape using a good solvent as a spinning solvent, and specifically, to provide a method for producing acrylic synthetic fibers using a good solvent such as DMSO, DMF or DMAc as a spinning solvent in which a thread breakage frequency is suppressed and the acrylic synthetic fibers have a single fiber fineness of 30 dtex or more and a modified cross-sectional shape. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, an acrylonitrile-based copolymer is used which is obtained by polymerizing 30 to 60 weight% of acrylonitrile, 35 to 69.5 weight% of vinyl chloride, 0.5 to 5 weight% of a sulfonic acid group-containing vinyl monomer and 0 to 5 weight% of other copolymerizable vinyl monomer and which substantially does not contain vinylidene chloride. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
