<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly perform the self-diagnosis of a speaker and an amplifier mounted in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: It is detected that a door at a driver seat side is opened by a door sensor 14. It is reported, from the door sensor 14 to a cluster 11 and a control part 1, that the door is opened. When the door is opened, a chime tone is read from a chime sound source 3 by the control of the control part 1. The read chime tone is reproduced from a front speaker 7a, and collected by a rear speaker 7b. It is detected, by a sound detection part 9b, whether or not the chime tone is collected by the rear speaker 7b, and the detection result is supplied to the control part 1. The control part 1 determines that the front speaker 7a and the rear speaker 7b are normally operated when the supplied detection result shows the chime tone, and determines that at least one of the front speaker 7a and the rear speaker 7b is faulty when it shows no chime tone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
