The assembly has an eyelid retractor (10) comprising arms (14a, 14b) articulated with each other and defining an articulation portion (16). Each arm is provided with a spoon at an end for cooperating with eyelids. A spring member is placed in the portion and maintains the arms in a retracted position. A removable blocker (12) is arranged to be inserted into a cylindrical housing arranged at center of the portion. The blocker has a stop part for cooperating with the arms at periphery of the portion for interfering between the arms and preventing the arms from being folded beyond end position.
