<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide performance of a geometric distortion correction processing properly when a projection optical system is interchanged. <P>SOLUTION: In an image projection device 100, a light modulated by a light modulation element 120 driven on the basis of an image signal is projected on a surface to be projected 300 by a projection optical system 210 so as to display a projection image, and one of a plurality of interchangeable optical units each of which has a projection optical system different from one another is selectively mounted. The device has correction means 60 for image signal correction processing in order to reduce geometric distortion appearing in a projection image, using correction data; correction data storage means 40 for storing correction data corresponding to each of the plurality of interchangeable optical units; control means 30 for acquiring identification information of an interchangeable optical unit mounted on the image projection device among the plurality of interchangeable optical units and reading out correction data corresponding to the identification information from the correction data storage means so as to set as correction data to be used in the correction processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
