<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method and a program capable of easily grasping a scene constitution of a video. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device comprises a scene transition detection part 13 for detecting a scene transition in an animation based on data of the animation including a series of images; a representative image extraction part 17 for extracting a predetermined number of representative images from a series of images belonging to each scene; a representative image separating part 19 for separating the representative image into a main image M and a sub image S when two or more representative images are extracted in each scene; a degeneration display image creation part 21 for operating the sub image and creating a degeneration display image D to display the sub image in a degenerated manner; and a representative image display part 23 for displaying the representative images of plural scenes in an order of scene transition, displaying the degenerated display image together with the main image when two or more representative images are extracted, and displaying the representative image when one representative image is extracted in each scene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
