<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate tracing back a history of respective revisions of a continuously revised manuscript. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises; an image feature recognition section 211 extracting an image feature from an image of an inputted manuscript; a history determination section 212 which compares the image feature of the newly inputted image and an image feature of a recorded image inputted and stored beforehand, and which examines a correlation between the inputted image and the recorded image; a control section 213 managing a history of the manuscript having the correlation. The control section 213 makes history information based on the image feature of the inputted image and records it in a record section. A character recognition section 214 then converts a different portion of the image feature of the inputted image with respect to the image feature of the recorded image into character information and the control section 213 records the character information in the record section as the history information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
