<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint wastewater separator capable of efficiently separating coating cake from paint wastewater. <P>SOLUTION: This paint wastewater separator 1 includes a mixing tank 2 where the paint wastewater is mixed with a separation chemical agent, and a reaction separation tank which receives the mixed wastewater from the mixing tank 2 and separates the coating cake from the mixed wastewater. The reaction separation tank 3 is provided with: an enhancement chamber 5 which promotes the reaction of the paint wastewater and the separation chemical agent in the mixed wastewater that enters from the mixing tank 2; a surfacing chamber 6 which is continuously provided from the enhancement chamber 5 and surfaces the coating cake in the mixed wastewater with a flow channel 45 formed in an inverted U-shape; and a filter chamber 7 which is provided continuously from the surfacing chamber 6, and has a filter plate 51 at a downstream edge, so that the coating cake is efficiently separated from the paint wastewater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
