<p>A method for protecting data in a communication terminal and a communication terminal are disclosed in the present invention. The method includes the following steps of: setting a telephone mode and a computer mode in an operating system of the communication terminal, wherein the telephone mode includes various communication function items for communication of the communication terminal, and the computer mode includes various use and processing function items for using the data stored in the communication terminal; when the data stored in the communication terminal needs to be protected, switching the communication terminal to the telephone mode, exiting the computer mode, just turning on a communication function of the communication terminal, and turning off the various use and processing function items for using the data stored in the communication terminal; and when the data stored in the communication terminal needs to be used, enabling the communication terminal to enter the computer mode, and turning on the use and processing functions of the communication terminal for using the stored data. Without affecting the communication function of the communication terminal, the method can conveniently protect the data stored in the communication terminal and can improve the efficiency of using the communication terminal.</p> |
