The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for exercise and/or analysis of a locomotor system of a user, wherein the apparatus (1) has at least one main element (4), which can be set in periodic and/or aperiodic movements by a drive device (5), and at least one sensor (13; 13a-13c, 13a'-13c') through which a response function of a user of the apparatus (1) to an excitation function applied to the user by the main element (4) can be determined and whose sensor signals can be delivered to an evaluation device (24) of the apparatus (1). According to the invention, at least one further sensor (12; 12a-12c) is provided through which the position and/or the state of movement of the main element (4; 4a, 4b) applying the excitation function of the apparatus to the user can be detected and whose sensor signals can be delivered to the evaluation device (24), and the evaluation device (24) can carry out a comparison between the excitation function applied to the user by the main element (4; 4a, 4b) and the response function of the user, by means of the evaluation device (24) comparing the amplitude and/or the phase position of these two functions in order to determine parameters of the locomotor system of the user. |
