<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend its service life by making a dust cover twistable by fatigue. <P>SOLUTION: The dust cover for a ball joint has a first end portion 21 to be attached to a housing 11, a second end portion 23 to be attached to the shaft 14e of a ball stud 14 tiltably and rotatably connected to the housing 11, and a cover body 22 which connects the first end portion 21 and the second end portion 23 and is bulged radially outwardly. In the dust cover, the first end portion 21, the second end portion 23, and the cover body 22 are formed integrally with a rubber material, and a plurality of grooves 22a extending in the axial direction of the ball stud 14 are formed in the circumferential direction of the cover body 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
