<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for an ultrasonic motor, capable of adjusting periods of drive waveforms generated by a drive waveform generation part in detail. <P>SOLUTION: A driving device 2 for an ultrasonic motor 1 is provided with a rectangular waveform generator 22 to generate signals for driving piezoelectric devices 11a-11d of the ultrasonic motor 1 including the piezoelectric devices 11a, 11b, 11c, and 11d, low-pass filters (LPFs) 23a and 23b, and amplifiers 24a and 24b.
