PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a feeling of roughness of a transmission image than before.

SOLUTION: An image forming device for performing imaging processing on a document image 50 including a back image and a transmission image 50a is provided with a non-superimposed area detection unit 602 and a non-superimposed area gradation calculation unit 609. The non-superimposed area detection unit 602 detects a non-superimposed area 50h of the transmission image 50a, the non-superimposed area 50h being an area not superimposed on the back image. The non-superimposed area gradation calculation unit 609 uniforms the gradation of the non-superimposed area 50h.
