<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing dew condensation in a conveyance path disposed at the downstream side of fixing means and suppressing deterioration in the state of a paper surface and an image defect without reducing an operation rate of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has: fixing means for heating and pressurizing paper to fix a toner image on the paper; paper ejecting means that is disposed at the downstream side of the fixing means for ejecting the paper; a paper conveyance path disposed between the fixing means and the paper ejecting means; paper conveyance means that exists in the paper conveyance path for conveying the paper; and controlling means for controlling the paper conveyance means. The controlling means controls the paper conveyance means so as to stop at least a part of the paper heated by the fixing means in the paper conveyance path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
