<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a viewer sometimes sleeps while viewing a program and misses a desired program and electric power is wastefully consumed because a power switch of a graphic display device remains on even while the viewer is sleeping; therefore, it is necessary for the viewer to prevent the desired program from being missed and suppress wastefully consumed electric power. <P>SOLUTION: A graphic display device according to the present embodiment includes sleep detection signal reception means that receives a sleep detection signal of a viewer and a temporary stop means that temporarily stops video reproduction in accordance with the received sleep detection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
