<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easy a replacement of electrical boards by enabling to mount a plurality of electrical boards without covering a large area and degrading characteristics of each electrical board. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises a plurality of metal frames 101 and 102 on which electrical boards 111 and 112 with electrical parts are mounted in a removable manner and has a laminated mounting structure of the frames 101 and 102. The image forming apparatus comprises also a metal cover case 117 mounted on an Nth frame 102 in a removable manner, which houses an Nth electrical board 112 mounted on the Nth frame 102. The Nth frame 102 is mounted in a removable manner on a (N-1)th frame 101 with a Nth mounting part 122, face to face with the (N-1)th electrical board 111 mounted on the (N-1)th frame 101.
