<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising seal member capable of preventing dispersion of toner from adjacencies of both ends of an image carrier by improving the sealing performance of peripheral faces of both ends of the image carrier; and to provide a method for manufacturing the raising seal member. <P>SOLUTION: A raising seal member 10 is disposed to face the peripheral faces of both ends in the axial direction of a photoreceptor drum 90. The raising seal member 10 includes a sheet-like base material 12, and a raising seal part 14. The raising seal part 14 is provided on the surface of the base material 12. The raising seal part 14 is disposed in such a manner that each bristle is inclined at a predetermined angle towards a predetermined bristle falling direction. The bristle falling direction of the raising seal part 14 is set in the direction of heading for the central part in the axial direction of the photoreceptor drum 90. The raising seal part 14 is further configured that the bristle extends from the edge of the bristle falling direction side on the base material 12 toward the bristle falling direction side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
